We will work to identify and change bad habits into good ones or eliminate them for good. You cannot and will not be defined by your habits. Stress in itself is not a bad thing. It is how we deal with stress is the issue here. Are you emotional intelligent? Do you build up and then blow up or does it roll off your back? We will look at what is causing the stress and find ways to combat it. 

Motivation

What motivates you? What is preventing you from moving forward? You have the power to change and move forward within you. You must make the decision to move forward, and it begins with positive motivation. 

 

Why hire a Life Coach?

Are you stuck? Are you constantly falling back into bad habits? Do you feel you have no direction? Do you need guidance and accountability? Are negative thoughts keeping you from reaching your goals? Do you even know your goals? A life coach can help you discern what is happening in your life, help you to recognize the things keeping you back, and work on  a plan to move forward.

Is this Therapy or Mental Health Counseling?

No. The object of those things is to make you feel better with or without medication. I am not knocking these at all but life coaching goes much deeper than surface issues and it helps to empower you to make decisions and move your life forward. It is not always a quick fix and you have to be committed to the process. 

What is the process?

The process begins with a phone call. An exploratory phone call that helps me to determine if we are a good fit. I want to work with people that are committed to the process, are ready to make a change, and are appreciative of my services. I am not here to coach you to feel better. I am here to help coach you to become a better you.

If we are a good match then we will work out the details of the coaching relationship. We will work on one goal/issue at a time. You will find once we tackle one or two of your issues, your thinking may change to accommodate other issues in your life. There is no secret formula and everyone is broken in some way. 1. How long does each coaching session last?

The exploratory phone call lasts usually about 30-60 minutes. The first session usually runs one to two hours and each session after that about an hour. 

2. Do you work with Business Coaching?

I work on business coaching with my other business theadhdbusinesscoach.com Life coaching is more of coaching the individual.  

3. How much does life coaching cost?

Typical life coaching fees are in the range of $75 to $200. I set my rate at $60 per hour because I am here to help, not become rich. 

4. How long is the commitment?

We will work on your goal or issue one at a time.  Some issues will take 1-2 sessions. Some make take more. We will meet bi-weekly with a quick check in on the off week. I feel a 6 month commitment is the best plan of action for most of my clients. 

5. Why should I hire you as my life coach?

It is often said that you learn the best from those that have been in your shoes. I have trained for this career through self study and life experiences. I have first and second hand experience with the following:

separation/divorce, loss of job, self-esteem, ADHD, starting and running a business, fear of failing, death of a loved one, motivation, procrastination, health and wellness, developing positive habits, being a veteran, communication, focus, being a leader/manager, and being a coach.

I have done quite a bit in my life and I am ready to help you!
